Polyester (PET) hexagonal mesh fabric is a lightweight, high-tenacity reinforcement that dramatically improves the crack-bridging, dimensional stability, and long-term durability of cementitious, polyurethane, and bituminous waterproofing systems. Compared with fiberglass, polypropylene (PP), nylon, and nonwoven scrims, PET hex mesh offers superior alkali resistance, wet tensile retention, and bonding geometry that mechanically interlocks with mortar and coatings—especially on vertical or overhead surfaces. The result is fewer failures at joints and details, faster installation, and longer service life in roofs, basements, wet rooms, tunnels, podium decks, and water-retaining structures.
